I have rescued two dogs recently. This is one of life's rewards in doing so. I have never looked backed in doing so. Both of them are mixes; one is a Spitz & Pomeranian, the other Chihuahua & Daschund. Each one has their own personality and does come with some issues.
Minnie, she likes to chew and dig. My backyard lookes like it has been bombed. Gracie, she will bark at anything.
I have tried some traditional ways but finally did find some useful tools online.
Reprimanding, yelling and scolding a dog does not work. This usually results in making it harder to train them.
Dogs can be housebroken but traditional ways usually won't work.
Dogs have a mechanism within them that makes every command you issued an obey command.
